Amendment 6 Florida 2024 Amendment Act. Voting yes for amendment 6 repeals the provision of the florida constitution that provides public funds to some candidates running for statewide positions. Amendment 6 will remove article vi, section 7 of the florida constitution which established that it is the state’s policy to provide for statewide elections and set spending limits.

If this amendment is supported by 60% or more voters who vote on this ballot issue, all public. Florida amendment 6 would repeal the state constitutional amendment providing public financing to candidates for the governorship and cabinet offices.
